There is a song that goes ALL THAT YOU HAVE IS YOUR SOUL. The singer has this tragic, low voice---like the way someone sounds right after they've been crying for a long time---and she sings the line over and over again until way deep in your heart you believe it's true.
It IS true.
(I drew a picture for this one two. If you dont think my written description of my view on the paragraph wasnt well enough I can add the picture so you can see what I was trying to say.)
Toswiah is effected by the song she has heard and feels its penetrating meaning. She believes it has to do with herself and her situation. I can just imagine her sitting there next to the radio listening to the singer and the lyrics she cries out. Pain from the song is being transfered over to her heart and mind.
How do you think the song was effecting Toswiah? Do you think it had a lot of significance.
